They say that experience is the best teacher, so I compiled a helpful list of things you should never do (things that I’ve learned recently):
- Share a water bottle with your nephew who is eating crackers
- Toss a pair of shoes into the washer without checking what they’re made of
- Drive ½ hour home from work with your boss’s credit card
- Hook your finger on your kitchen faucet while you are filling a measuring cup
- Add an extra cup of pumpkin to your pumpkin bread recipe (we called it “pumpkin pound cake”)
- Play instead of close your Spanish Bible app when you’re talking with a Menards salesperson
- Plop down onto the pew when the moderator introduces the visiting speaker…while everyone else remains standing…in the church you are visiting for the very first time
- Expect no one to notice how often you step out of the house in socks and flip-flops
😀 I’d take some of the pumpkin pound cake though.
