My name is Trish. I grew up in rural Illinois in a family of seven.
In the summer of 2015, as I was waiting to move to North Africa, I started this blog as an outlet for what was ahead of me. Thus began this blogging journey full of unedited joy, sorrow, humor, frustration, and unanswered questions.
After 16 months in North Africa that were both grueling and wonderful, I returned to Illinois to gather paperwork for a Spanish residence visa. In November 2017, I officially moved to the heart of agriculture in Andalusia, Spain, where I live and work in the immigrant community.
